Robert Lee Vaughn was born April 12, 1952 and departed this life Wednesday, June 25, 2014 reaching the age of 62 years. He was the son of the late Ambrose and Cora (Gregory) Vaughn.

He married Peggy Jones and to this union two children were born.

He is survived by: fiancée, Myrtle Vaughn; one daughter, Angela Gregory; daughter-in-law, Samantha Vaughn; granddaughter, Ella Sue Gregory; step grandchildren, Nathan Stringer, Landon Abner, Ashley Russell, and Mallie Abner; and two step great grandchildren, Jacob and Jeffrey Hall. He is also survived by: brothers, Larry and Ray Joe Vaughn; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Ambrose and Cora Vaughn, he was preceded in death by: his wife, Peggy (Jones) Vaughn; one son, Robert Allen Vaughn; and several brothers, Othel, Edmond, Dillard, James, Millard, Milton, Denver, and David Vaughn.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 27th, 2014 after 5pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 28th, 2014 at 11am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Bud Gregory Cemetery.
