Robert "Bob" Twyford was born February 9, 1936 and departed this life Wednesday, June 1, 2022 reaching the age of 86 years. He was the son of the late Glenn and Leila (Turner) Twyford.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Hurd) Twyford; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Glenn and Leila Twyford, he was preceded in death by one brother, Earl Wilson Twyford.

Bob was a proud Navy Veteran, retiring after 22 years of service to his country.

He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 4, 2022 between 11 am – 2 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
