Robert "Junior" Tucker was born June 19, 1937 and departed this life Wednesday, January 13, 2021 reaching the age of 83 years. He was the son of the late Harley and Madeline (Jones) Tucker.

He married Glenna Harris and to this union three children were born.

He is survived by: his wife, Glenna Tucker; one son, Marty Tucker: one daughter, Katisha Tucker; three grandchildren, Teaunna Scott, Krisinda Jones, and Melinda Tucker; and two great grandchildren, Datashia Smith and Kenyon Smith. He is also survived by:  one brother, Eddie Tucker; and one sister, Sherry Hurd; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Harley and Madeline Tucker, he was preceded in death by: one daughter, Angela Tucker; one grandchild, Tearun Tucker; three brothers, Bobby, Roy and Ray Tucker; and two sisters, Carrie Tucker and Loretta Gregory.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 17, 2021 between 11:30 am – 2 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 17, 2021 at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.

Due to the current COVID-19 situation and upon recommendations from the Governor's Office for Funeral Homes, there will be some restrictions for service attendance. You are asked to please wear a mask or facial covering and observe the social distancing guidelines. No communal food or drinks are allowed at this time.
