Robert "Shep" Shepherd was born May 23, 1937 and departed this life Tuesday, October 13, 2009 reaching the age of 72 years. He was the son of the late Clarence and Minnie (Stamper) Shepherd.

He is survived by: his wife, Shirley Shepherd of Monticello, KY, 4 daughters, Patty White, Michelle Lewis, Angel Buffington, and Tammy Setters; 1 step daughter, Teresa Owens; 7 grandchildren, Christofer, Ryan, and Kelsey Setters, Mike Proctor, A. J. White, Brandie and Stevie Buffington; and 4 great grandchildren, Cameron, Sam, Tristen, and Katie Proctor; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Clarence and Minnie Shepherd, he was preceded in death by: 1 brother, David Shepherd; and 1 sister, Shirley Francis.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
