Robert Lincoln "Bob" Foster was born February 14, 1938 and departed this life Wednesday, August 21, 2019 reaching the age of 81 years. He was the son of the late Johnnie Kelsay and Alpha (Baker) Foster.

He married Lois Ann Bishop and to this union five children were born.

Bob is survived by: his wife, Lois Foster; four children, Gary, Donnie and Darrell Foster and Diane Parmley; 11 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren; He is also survived by:  one brother, David Foster; and two sisters, Alice Stout and Barbara Sue Russell; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Johnnie and Alpha Foster, he was preceded in death by: one son, Robert Glenn Foster; three brothers, Johnnie, Jim, and Junior Foster; and two sisters, Grace Davis and Martha Louise Keeton; and one granddaughter, Bethany Parmley Rose.

He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at the young age of 15 and became a member of the Bethel Church at Parmleysville.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 25, 2019 between 5pm - 8pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Monday, August 26, 2019 at 2pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
