Obituary
Robert Nelson Lair was born April 5, 1943 and departed this life November 14, 2003 reaching the age of 60 years. He was the son of Earl Lair and Jewel Bowlin Lair.
He is survived by his mother – Jewel Lair of Shelbyville, IN; two sisters – Bettye Baker of Shelbyville, IN and Nancy Allen of Fairland, IN. He is also survived by 7 nephews – Greg and Jeff Baker of Minerva, OH, Perry Baker of Fairland, IN, Ashley and David Allen of Indianapolis, IN, Wesley Allen of Hazard, KY and Ricky Jenkins of Monticello, KY; also 5 great nieces and 6 great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father – Earl Lair, and one brother – Earl K. Lair.
Mr. Lair had been employed by General Motors of Indianapolis, IN, he was also a veteran in the U.S. Air Force.
He was a loving son, brother, uncle, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation: The family will receive friends at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel.
Funeral Service: Memorial services will be held Saturday, November 11 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel.
Interment: Mill Springs National Cemetery
