Robert L. Hicks was born January 18, 1951 and passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2011, having reached the age of 60 years. He was the son of the late Hubert Franklin and Mary (Jones) Hicks.

He is survived by: his wife, Elsie Hicks; 1 son, Sherman Hicks; 2 daughters, Lana Stinson and Paula Taylor; 7 brothers, Marshal, Hershal, Martin, Randall, Jack, Eddie, & Kay Hicks; 2 sisters, Lucille Denney and Jean Clark; 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.

The family will recieve friends on Saturday, February 12, 2011, after 4pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 13, 2011 at 2pm with brother Darrell Ragan officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Bethel Cemetery.
