Robert Baker was born November 22, 1986 and departed this life Monday, August 15, 2016 reaching the age of 29 years. He was the son of Martha (Dodson) Tucker and the late James Robert "Bobby" Baker.

He is survived by: his fiancé, Ashley Bertram; his mother and step father, Martha and R.L. Tucker; one brother, James Donovan Abbott (Elizabeth); and one sister, Heather Trinh (Toan); and David Abbott who was a father figure to him; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Baker.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 from 5pm - 8pm and Thursday, August 18th from 7am – 10am in the chapel of the funeral home. The body will lie in state at First Baptist church from 11am – 1pm. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 18, 2016 at 1 pm at First Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery. Military honors will be performed by our local DAV Chapter 105.
