ROBA ACREY was born January 24, 1926 and departed this life October 2, 2005 reaching the age of 79 years. He was the son of William "W.G." Acrey and Lillie Thurston Acrey.

He was united in marriage to Ruth Guffey on October 5, 1951 and to this union four children were born.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth Acrey of Monticello, KY; two sons, Dennis Acrey of Monticello, KY and Tom Acrey of Lawton, OK; two daughters, Josephine Morris of Monticello, KY and Gwendaline Leffew of Kingston, GA; ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers, Hubby Acrey of Monticello, KY and Wendell Acrey of Chicago, IL; and one sister, Iza Denney of Rossville, IL;.

He was preceded in death by his parents, W.G. and Lillie Acrey.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Visitation: Monday, October 3 after 5 pm and Tuesday, October 4 after 8 am
Funeral Service: Tuesday, October 4th at 1 pm
Interment: Choate Cemetery
