Rick Wayne "Ricky" Denney was born October 9, 1958 and departed this life Monday, July 23, 2012 reaching the age of 53. He was the son of the late Clarence and Margie (Denney) Denney.

He is survived by: his wife, Tammy Denney of Monticello, KY; 2 children, Nick Denney and Tammara Denney of Monticello, KY; 3 step children, Emily Lewis, Lucas Stigall, and Katlin Hollis; and 7 grandchildren. He is also survived by: 1 brother, Randy Denney of Monticello, KY; and 4 sisters, Judy (Ricky) Phillips of Bronston, Tina (Clay) Young, Patty (Kenneth) Massengale and Sherry (James) Coffey all of Monticello, KY; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Clarence and Margie Denney, he was preceded in death by: 1 brother, Russell Denney.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 26, 2012, from 5 – 9 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 27, 2012, at 1 pm at the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home with Bro. Perry Dobbs officiating. Burial will be in the Edwards Chapel Cemetery.
