Rick Barnes was born July 17, 1963 and departed this life Saturday, November 2, 2019 reaching the age of 56 years. He was the son of the late Isaac Hershel "Turk" and Marie (Clark) Barnes.

He is survived by: his special friend, Kathy Young; four brothers, Gerald Barnes (Sylvia), Mike Barnes, Sam Barnes (Ruth), and Terry Barnes (Evelyn); two sisters, Rita Matthews (Tom) and Alice Barnes; one nephew, Dustin Barnes; and four nieces, Angie Coffey, Shannon Catron, Crystal Barnes and Rachel Barnes; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Isaac and Martha Barnes, he was preceded in death by one sister, Juanita Barnes.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Thursday November 7, 2019 at 12:30 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Stop Cemetery.
