Richard Allen Weaver was born September 29, 1932 and departed this life Wednesday, August 31, 2022 reaching the age of 89 years. He was the son of the late William Brian and Mary Elizabeth (Ramsey) Weaver.

He graduated from Burnside High School and attended the University of Kentucky until entering the Army.  On completion of his military service, he returned home to farm.

He is survived by: his wife, Elizabeth (Hines) Weaver; two sons, Allen (Robin) Weaver and Scott Weaver; two daughters, Terri Tucker and Lisa (Wayne) Roberts; and four grandchildren, Michael Roberts, Kaitlin Hicks, Sarah Tucker and Rylee Weaver.  He is also survived by:  one brother, Adrian (June) Weaver; and one sister, Alice (Bill) Abner; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 between 11 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home chapel with a graveside service following at Elk Spring Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to: Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
