Richard Glen Sexton, better known as Rick, passed away August 18th. 2013 at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, IN. He was born May 13th, 1958 in Monticello, KY to Glen and Mary Jo Sexton.

He professed faith in Christ and was baptized July 13, 2007.

Rick was united in marriage November 19th, 1994 to Hazel Whited. To this union two children were born, Harley Marie and Richard Glen Etol. His wife, Hazel passed away June 1st, 1998. Rick is survived by: his children, Harley and Etol; son-in-law, Shawn Good; granddaughter, Caydence Marie; father and stepmother, Glen and Karen Sexton; sister, Cheri Sexton; great niece, Macey Brooke Groce; aunts, uncles and cousins.

In addition to his wife, Hazel, he was preceded in death by: his mother, Mary Jo; niece, Amanda Diane Troxell, step-mother, Nichole Sexton; paternal grandparents, Robert and Lucille Sexton; maternal grandparents, Harlan and Marie Latham; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 22nd, 2013 from 10am - 12pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 22, 2013 at 12pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home with Bro. Charles Dugger officiating. Burial will be in Elk Spring Cemetery.
