Rexel "Rex" Gregory was born July 19, 1954 and departed this life on Saturday, December 6, 2014 having reached the age of 60 years. He was the son of the late Tommy Gregory and Rachel Vaughn Gregory Jones. He was the step-son of Wolford Jones.

He was united in marriage to Marie Haynes and to this union 2 children were born.

He is survived by: His wife, Marie Gregory; 1 son, Rex Gregory; 1 brother, John Gregory; 3 sisters, Daisy Feltner, Gleta Jones, and Pansy Jones; and 4 grandchildren, Jacob, Brooklyn, Katelyn, and Sara.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by: a daughter, Ginger Gregory; 1 brother, J.C. Gregory; and 3 sisters, Ella Mae Gregory, Geneva Gregory, and Cleta Vaughn.

He was an elder of Cedar Grove Baptist Church and a life long member.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, fellow Christian, and friend that will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 8, 2014 after 5pm at the Cedar Grove Baptist Church in McCreary County. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at 11am at the Cedar Grove Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Bud Gregory Cemetery.
