Obituary
Retha Ann Montoney was born June 5, 1948 and departed this life Wednesday, January 28, 2009 reaching the age of 60 years. She was the daughter of the late Fred and Effie (Richardson) Herb.
She is survived by: 2 daughters- Anna Slaven and Beverly Montoney both of Monticello, KY, and 5 grandchildren. She is also survived by: 1 brother- Arthur Herb of Monticello, KY and 1 sister- Barbara Lane of Indianapolis, IN; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
In addition to her parents- Red and Effie, she was preceded in death by: her husband- Ernest Montoney, 1 brother- Amiel Herb, and 1 sister- Nancy Morris.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Visitation: Friday, January 30th after 5 pm
Funeral Service: Saturday, January 31st at 1 pm
Interment: Lonely Cemetery
