Rebecca Lynn Jones was born November 6, 1969 and departed this life Wednesday, January 13, 2021 reaching the age of 51 years. She was the daughter of Betty (Brummett) Downs and the late Jimmy Allen Jones.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by: her dad, Willard Downs; one son, Josh Daniels; three daughters, Kista (Noel) Sexton, Bethany Daniels, and Sandra Daniels; ten grandchildren, Ashton Lyons, Dixie Abston, Savanah Abston, Bryson Daniels, Trevor Poore, Trevet Daniels, Genesis Dodd, Jaylan Sexton, Keelan Sexton and Presley Sexton, and Bentley Able. She is also survived by:  three brothers, Roger Brummett, Rick (JoAnna) Jones and Charlie Jones; four sisters, Angie Matthews, Shannon Downs, Deloris Hatfield and Patricia Bertram; special friend, Forrest Brown; and her fur baby, Keke; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Allen Jones; the father of her children and her lifelong friend, Ricky Daniels; grandparents, Marsh & Ruth Brummett and Maude Crabtree & Pit Downs, Theodore & Ivy Jones.

She loved her family and was a dedicated homemaker, who took care of her kids and grandkids. She had a green thumb and loved flowers.

The family will receive friends on Monday, January 18, 2021 between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to: Rebecca Jones Memorial Fund, c/o Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home.
