Raymond Foster was born June 12, 1950 and departed this life Friday, April 23, 2010 reaching the age of 59 years. He was the son of the late Ralph Cox and Sarah Foster.

He is survived by: 1 son, Ricky Foster; 2 daughters, Marsha Doss and Shirley Russell; and 2 grandchildren, Corey Doss and Haley Sharp. He is also survived by: 4 brothers, Roger, Sam, Lloyd, and Thomas Foster; and 2 sisters, Anna Troxell and Lillie Foster; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Ralph and Sarah, he was preceded in death by: 1 brother, Bobby Foster; and 1 sister, Connie Rigney.

He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Monday, April 26, 2010 after 5 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at 2 pm at the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Grant Roberts Cemetery.
