Raymond Lloyd Abner aka Bimbo was born February 13, 1954, and departed this life May 3, 2024, reaching the age of 70 years. He was the son of the late Lloyd Abner and Marie (Doss) Abner.

He is survived by: three daughters, Samantha Abner, Betsy Stringer, and June Abner; two sons, Bobby Joe Abner and Jason Abner; ten grandchildren, Ashley Russell, Nathan Stringer, Christopher Atkins, Aaron Abner, Alyssa Abner, Mallie Abner, Landon Abner, Greyson Rector, Donnie Ray Turner, and Cheyenne Birchum; six great grandchildren, Jacob Hall, Jeffrey Hall, Jackson Russell, Athan Stringer, Zaylee Stringer, and Zayden Stringer; two brothers, Kenneth Abner and Eddie Abner, one sister, Mary Denney; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: his wife, Donna Sue Abner; one son, Jeffrey Abner aka Cookie Monster; two sisters; Jimmie Groce and Phyllis Jean Boatman.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
