Ray Perdue

Ray Perdue was born April 2, 1952, and departed this life Wednesday, July 8, 2026, reaching the age of 74 years. He was the son of the late Paul and Marie (Cooper) Perdue.

He is survived by: his daughter, Janessa Floyd (Jeremy); one sister, Ina Perdue; grandchildren, Jasmyne Hampton (Brian), Lucas Patton, Madyson Patton, Shyanne Floyd, Christian Floyd, and Westlie Floyd; and great grandchildren, Langston Patton and Maela Hampton; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Paul and Marie Perdue, he was preceded in death by: one brother, Harold Perdue; and three sisters, Helen Deaton, Noxie Wright, and Alta Ragan.

He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 13, 2026, between 5 pm – 8 pm (EST) in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at 1 pm (EST) at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Davis Chapel Cemetery.
