Ray Lee Davis was born October 23, 1937 and departed this life Tuesday, September 19, 2017 reaching the age of 79 years. He was the son of the late Glen and Ruby Davis.

He was united in marriage April 7, 1979 to Eula Esther Parmley.

Along with his wife, he is survived by: a daughter, Tami Davis Rivetna and sons, Terry Davis and Alan Abbott; his siblings, Clay Davis, Mike Davis and Norma Jean Davis; grandchildren, Olivia, Natasha and Alea Rivetna, Brooke and Jeremiah Davis, Matthew, Lani, Pierce, Jason, Eric and several great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Glen and Ruby Davis, he was preceded in death by one son, Eddie Abbott and one brother, Bob Davis.

He accepted Christ as his Savior many years ago and remained faithful til death. He attended church as long as his health permitted. He took much pleasure in serving his Savior.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 23, 2017 after 10:30 am in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Parnell Methodist Church Cemetery. Military honors will be performed by our local DAV Chapter 105.
