Ray Dean Catron was born August 4, 1935 and departed this life Sunday, November 30, 2014 reaching the age of 79 years. He was the son of the late George and Rener (Denney) Catron.

He is survived by: his wife, Vickie (Smith) Catron; 8 children, Jenni Catron Dugan (Allen), Donald Catron (Kathy), Johnny Catron (Angie), Janie Catron, Lorene Catron Gregory (Brian), Margaret Catron Kennedy (Mike), Ricky Catron (Mindy), and Tarina Catron Whited (Kenny); 22 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, George and Rener Catron, he was preceded in death by: one brother, Ernest Catron (Glenna); and one sister, Mildred Catron Pyles (Johnny).

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 after 6 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Edwards Chapel Cemetery.
