Randy Southwood was born July 9, 1948 and departed this life Monday, April 20, 2009 reaching the age of 60 years. He was the son of the late Eskel and Bertha (Bell) Southwood.

He was united in marriage to Oreda Neal and to this union 2 children were born.

He is survived by: his wife, Oreda Southwood of Monticello, KY, 1 son, Scott Douglas (Anne) Southwood of Monticello, KY, and 1 daughter, Toni Michele (Todd) Humble of Monticello, KY, 4 grandchildren, Taylor Southwood, Natalie Humble, Emily Humble, and Dylan Southwood. He is also survived by: 3 brothers, Curtis Southwood of LaPorte, IN, Eskel "Tojo" Southwood, Jr. of Indianapolis, IN and Manuel "Bob" Southwood of Indianapolis, IN, and 3 sisters, Dottie McClane of Monticello, KY, Carol Bennett of Greenfield, IN, and Janet McQueary of Russell Springs, KY; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents. Eskel and Bertha Southwood, he was preceded in death by: 2 brothers, Russell and Sonny Southwood, and 2 sisters, Nita Richardson and Betty Dean.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.


Visitation: Wednesday, April 22nd after 5 pm
Funeral Service: Thursday, April 23rd at 1 pm
Interment: Elk Spring Cemetery
