Ralph Lair was born September 6, 1930 and departed this life Sunday, October 31, 2010 reaching the age of 80. He was the son of the late Ira and Leona (Barnett) Lair.

He is survived by: his wife, Wanda (Pruett) Lair; 1 son, Jimmy (Peggy) Lair; 1 daughter, Wilma (Cecil) Stinson; 2 step daughters, Louise (Bobby Kay) Keith and Marla (Huey) Alley; 1 sister, Mary (Damon) Smith; 3 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Ira and Leona Lair, he was preceded in death by: 1 brother, Eugene Lair; and 2 grandchildren.


The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 from 5 – 9 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 4, 2010 at 11 am at the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home with Bro. Daniel Richardson and Bro. Charles Eugene Dick officiating. Burial will be in Elk Spring Cemetery.
