Ralph Wayne Jones was born August 10, 1969 and departed this life Thursday, October 6, 2022 reaching the age of 53 years. He was the son of James Wiley Jones and the late Doris Ann (Troxell) Jones.

He is survived by: son, Joshua Jones; his companion of 6 years, Holly Scalf; his father, James Wiley Jones; one brother, James Lynn Jones; nephew, Brandon Jones; a special nephew and farming buddy, Blane Jones; and two special nieces, Tabitha Dishman (Daniel) and Elaine Hersley (Shannon); along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his mother, Doris Ann Jones, he was preceded in death by a newborn child in 1995; and his sister, Mary Ann Ferrell.

Ralph was an employee at Conley Bottom Resort for many years. He was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church where he served as deacon for nearly 10 years.

He enjoyed hunting, farming, fishing, and Razor RZR riding with all his buddies.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 13, 2022, between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Friday, October 14, 2022, at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
