Obituary
Rachel Sue Thompson Montgomery was born April 10, 1942 and departed this life Saturday, June 30, 2012 reaching the age of 70. She was the daughter of the late Charlie and Rhoda (Taylor) Thompson.
She was united in marriage to Ewing "Chuck" Montgomery and to this union 2 children were born.
She is survived by: her husband Chuck Montgomery; 1 son, Gary Montgomery; 1 daughter, Cynthia Sue Hoffman; 2 Gary, Jr. and Kelsey Ann. She is also survived by: 2 brothers, Kenneth and Charles Thompson; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: 2 brothers, Rex and Alfred Thompson.
The family will receive friends on Monday, July 2, 2012 from 11am – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 2, 2012 at 1 pm at the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Molden officiating. Burial will be in Taylor Cemetery.
