Phyllis Kaye Piercy was born August 28, 1957 and departed this life Wednesday, January 27, 2010 reaching the age of 52 years. She was the daughter of Tina (Cooper) Atkinson and the late Kay Orbie Atkinson.

She is survived by: her husband, David Piercy; 2 sons, Michael and Chris Piercy; 4 grandchildren, Travis and Trent Price, Emilie and Mackinze Piercy. She is also survived by: her mother and step father, Tina and Weldon Gibson; 1 brother, Billy Atkinson; and 2 sisters, Evelyn Turner and Margaret Hicks; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her father, Kay Atkinson, she was preceded in death by: 1 brother, Kenny Gibson.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Visitation: Sunday, January 31st after 4 pm
Funeral Service: Monday, February 1st at 2 pm
Interment: New Charity Baptist Church Cemetery
