Phyllis Perdue was born November 6, 1924 and departed this life Monday, December 29, 2008 reaching the age of 84 years. She was the daughter of the late Phillip "Phil" Barrier and Laura (Gregory) Barrier.

She is survived by: 1 son- Gary Perdue of Somerset, KY, 3 daughters- Linda Littrell and Connie Young both of Monticello, KY, and Sue Guffey of Mission Viejo, CA, 11 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren. She is also survived by: 2 brothers- Kay Barrier of Walton, KY and Jack Barrier of GA; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband- Pete, 1 son- Jack, 1 daughter- Betty Keith, 2 brothers- Frank and Milton Barrier, and 1 sister- Mildred Foster, and 2 grandchildren.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.


Visitation: Wednesday, December 31st after 11 am
Funeral Service: Graveside, Wednesday, December 31 at 3 pm
Interment: Elk Spring Cemetery
