Phyllis Evelyn Reeser Frye was born on April 2, 1927, and departed this life Sunday, March 26, 2023, reaching the age of 95 years. She was the daughter of the late Walter L. and Edna (Baker) Reeser.

She is survived by: her husband of 77 years, Harold Frye; two sons, Mickey Frye (Judy) and Ken Frye (Gayle); four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Walter and Edna Reeser, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Todd Ritterbach; one brother, Raymond "Sonny" Reeser; and one sister, Betty Norrod.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 30, 2023, at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hospice of Lake Cumberland and the House of Blessings.
