Phillip Stinson was born August 19, 1952 and departed this life Friday, October 8, 2021 reaching the age of 69 years. He was the son of the late Chester and Luella (Hancock) Stinson.

He married Delores Keeton and to this union three children were born.

He is survived by: his wife, Delores Stinson; two sons, David (Tiffany) Stinson and Scott (Angela) Stinson; one daughter, Jennifer (Earl) Barnes; eleven grandchildren, Taygan Stinson, Dylan Stinson, Jayden Barnes, Brayden Stinson, Aubrey Sexton, Collin Barnes, Courtney Stinson, Corrie Stinson, River Barnes, Roman Stinson , Londyn Stinson; and great grandchild:  Tatum Bell.  He is also survived by: three brothers, Larry (Joyce) Stinson, Ray B. (Rebecca) Stinson, Eddie (Joyce) Stinson; and four sisters, Evelyn Ferrell, Virgie (Howard) Buck, Betty (Robert) Phillips, and Virginia (Larry) McClellan; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: brothers, Everett, James, Junior, and Roy Stinson.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 14, 2021 between 11 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 14, 2021 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
