Phillip K. "Phil" Brumley, 54, a resident of Hagerstown passed away Friday, January 12, 2018 at his home. He was born September 21, 1963 in Monticello, Kentucky.

A 1982 graduate of New Castle Chrysler High School, Phil had been employed at Indiana Carpenters in Indianapolis as a millwright engineer. He had previously worked at New Castle Engineering. Phil had been a member of the New Castle Moose Lodge and attended Open Arms Church as well as Cross Roads Church in New Castle. His hobbies included fishing, hunting and raising cattle. He also enjoyed water skiing, boating and riding his Harley.

Survivors include his mother: Mary (Jones) Brumley of Hagerstown; his father: Billy Brumley of Florida along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Phil was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Clarence and India Jones and his paternal grandparents: Roy and Lura Brumley; also, several aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 19, 2018 between 11 am – 2 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 19, 2018 at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
