Phil Douglas Johnson was born October 7, 1938, and departed this life Tuesday, August 22, 2023 reaching the age of 84 years. He was the son of the late Conley E. and Fannie Lois (Kinnett) Johnson.

He married Barbara Vaughn and to this union one son was born.

He is survived by: his son, Stuart Johnson (Kim); brothers-in-law, Paul Baumer and Gene Lovell; one sister-in-law, Glenda Gibson; and one aunt, Nova Jean; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Conley and Fannie Johnson, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Johnson and one sister, Phyllis Lovell.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 25, 2023 between 10:30 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Friday, August 25, 2023 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
