Pete O'Dare Roberts was born April 28, 1946 and departed this life Monday, July 9, 2012 reaching the age of 66. He was the son of the late Dennis and Cleo (Saylor) Roberts.

He is survived by: his wife, Donna Fry of Somerset, KY; 2 sons, John Roberts of Albany, KY and Sean Roberts of Monticello, KY; 3 grandchildren, Courtney Reeves, Tamika and Brayden Roberts; and 1 great grandchild, Aubree Reeves. He is also survived by: 1 brother, Roger Roberts of Monticello, KY; 4 sisters, Donna Logan of Dahlonega, GA, Fay Lee, Jeri Roberts, and Jeanette Miller all of Frankfort, KY; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Dennis and Cleo Roberts, he was preceded in death by: 1 son, Matthew Roberts; and 1 brother, James Roberts.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 11, 2012, from 5 – 9 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 12, 2012, at 1 pm at the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home with Bro. Roy Gregory officiating. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery. Military honors were performed by DAV Chapter 105.
