Perry Lynn Young was born December 14, 1960, and departed this life Monday, October 17, 2022, reaching the age of 61 years. He was the son of the late John Henry and Frances Carolyn (Smith) Young.

He is survived by: his son, Ridge Michael Oliver; 1 sister, Carol Ann (Young) McCandless; friend and mother to his son Sara Oliver; several nieces and nephews; along with a host of family and friends who mourns his passing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 brother, John Henry Young II.

Perry would help anyone in a flash. He loved making people laugh and Perry loved from the heart.

He was a loving father, brother, relative, and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Memorial Services will be held Monday, October 24, 2022, from 4 pm until 5 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel.
