Perry Pierce Mansfield was born June 23, 1942, and departed this life September 8, 2024, reaching the age of 82 years. He was the son of the late Earl and Ina (Turner) Mansfield.

He married Glenna Tucker and to this union three children were born.

He is survived by: his wife, Glenna Mansfield; two sons, Dewayne Mansfield (Angela) and Casey Mansfield (Delilah); four grandchildren, Johanthan Mansfield, Kenzleigh Mansfield, Donovan Hoover and Bentley Hoover; and one great grandchild, Dutton Rider Mansfield. He is also survived by: one brother, Robert Mansfield; one sister, Brenda Peavie; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Earl and Inda Mansfield, he was preceded in death by: his daughter, Deloris Jean Mansfield; and one sister, Earlene Mansfield.

He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 12, 2024, between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Friday, September 13, 2024, at 11 am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Parnell Baptist Church Cemetery.
