Pearl Troxell was born January 23, 1915 and departed this life Saturday, February 25, 2012 reaching the age of 97. She was the daughter of the late Willie and Mollie (Daniels) Troxell.

She was united in marriage to Virgil Troxell and to this union 5 children were born.

She is survived by: 2 sons, Teddy and Pierce Troxell both of Monticello, KY; 3 daughters, Doris Jones, May Piercy, and Betty Coffey all of Monticello, KY; 9 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and 15 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by: 4 siblings: Ted Troxell, Alfred Troxell, and Ina Sexton, all of Monticello, KY and Grace Perdue of Boerne, TX.; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Willie and Mollie Troxell, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Virgil Troxell; and 8 siblings: Claude Troxell, Junior Troxell, Earnest Troxell, Zora Dobbs, Francis Russell, Brad Troxell, Robert Troxell, and Joe Troxell.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 27, 2012 from 5 – 9 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at 1:00 pm at the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home with Bro. Dewey Burks officiating. Burial will be in Elk Spring cemetery.
