PAULINE BARRIER, was born August 7, 1925 in Mill Springs, KY, and departed this life Sunday, June 29th, 2003, reaching the age of 77 years. She was the daughter of the late Clarence DeHart and Dottie Dorcus DeHart.

She was united in marriage to Robert "Bob" Barrier and to this union four children were born.

She is survived by one son, Jim Barrier of Lexington, Ky; and three daughters, Barbara Akers and Cristy Stickney of Nashville, TN, and Paula Edwards of Monticello, KY. She is survived by 5 grandchildren.

She is also survived by one brother, Kenneth DeHart of Indianapolis, IN and one sister, Doris Ivey of Savannah, GA. She is survived by a half brother, Hollis DeHart of Russell Springs, KY and a half sister, Margaret ___________ of ________________, along with nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who will mourn her passing.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Bob.

She accepted Christ as her savior and was a member of the First Baptist Church.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, relative and friend and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.


Visitation: The family will receive friends after 4 PM on Tuesday, July 1st, 2003 in the chapel of the funeral home.
Funeral Service: The funeral service will be Wednesday, July 2nd, 2003 at 2 PM in the chapel of the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home.

Interment: Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
