Paula Jean Ross was born March 2, 1964, and departed this life Friday, August 18, 2023 reaching the age of 59 years. She was the daughter of the late Elisha Fred Richardson and Phyllis June Duncan.

She is survived by: one daughter, Sarah Stringer; one son, James Shepherd; one stepson, Michael Nichols; her companion, David Scott Nichols; and three sisters, Theresha Elmore, Crystal Lewis, and Gladys Watson; grandchildren, Kaidance, Jack, Lucas, Jayme, Aubree, Iris, Thaliah, Kennedy (RIP), Journey, and CJ; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Monday, August 28, 2023 between 12 pm – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Monday, August 28, 2023 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel.
