Obituary

Paul Edwin Stonecipher was born June 15, 1952 and departed this life Sunday, May 31, 2020 reaching the age of 67 years. He was the son of the late Edgar Edwin and Beatrice Marie (Koger) Stonecipher.

He is survived by: his wife, Vivian Stonecipher; his daughter, Vanessa (Tracy Corder) Hancock; his son, Brian (Janie) Stonecipher; three grandchildren, Corey Hancock, Demia Stonecipher and Carley Hancock; and four great grandchildren, Kinzley Morris, Elijah Hancock, Amelia Morris and Jaycee Dishman. He is also survived by:  two brothers, James Ray (Betty) Stonecipher and David (Kim) Stonecipher; one sister, Alta Jean Carter; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Ed and Beatrice Stonecipher, he was preceded in death by: three brothers, William Harrison, Jerry Lee and Robert Daniel Stonecipher; and one sister, Lucille Pleska.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 4, 2020 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.

Due to the current COVID-19 situation, and upon recommendations from the Governor's Office for Funeral Homes, there will be some limitations and restrictions for service attendance. Please feel free to sign the online guestbook or send a private condolence message through our website.
