Paul Eric Dolen, born September 2, 1960 to Frank and Joyce Dolen and Sandra Francine Decker Dolen, born April 25, 1962 to Willard and Josephine Decker, departed this life October 13, 2017.

They were united in marriage May 13, 1978. To this union two children were born - Eric Shaun and Tessa Renee. They made their home in the Oil Valley Community of Wayne County where they lived their entire married life. They were preceded in death by Paul's parents - Frank and Joyce Dolen, and Sandra's father - Willard Decker.

They are survived by their children - Eric Shaun and Tess Renee, grandchildren - Colton Barnett, Anislee, Taryn, Kellyn Dolen, Sandra's mother - Josephine, Paul's brother and sisters - David Dolen, Angela Weston, and Krista Bertram, Sandra's brothers and sisters - Gearld, Mickey, Rabion Decker, and Ramona Hardwick, half brother and sister - Rex Decker and Brenda Barnett, and many nieces and nephews.

Paul worked at Beldens for many years and farmed his whole life. Sandra worked at sewing factories and then at Walmart for many years. They enjoyed spending time with their children and grandchildren. They enjoyed camping and going to the lake when their children were younger. They enjoyed going to the Smokies. Paul and Sandy took much pride in their home and farm. As you can tell by the improvements made over the years.

Sandy was a member of Clay Hill Baptist Church. Paul was a member of Sandusky Chapel Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 after
5 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 11 am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Dolen Family Farm Cemetery.
