Obituary
Paul Edward Dodson was born October 27, 1925 and departed this life Sunday, June 15, 2008 reaching the age of 83 years. He was the son of the late Ernest Dodson and Mahalia Conley Dodson.
He married Cloie Denney who preceded him in death. He later married Mary Vivian Burks who survives him.
In addition to his wife, Vivian, he is survived by: three sons- Glen Edward, Robert Dean, and Raymond Dale Dodson, one daughter- Deloris Grayer, and one step daughter- Deloris Knapp, 10 grandchildren, one step grandson, fifteen great-grandchildren, and one step-great grandson. He is also survived by: three brothers- Rev. William, Elvin, and Rev. Jackie Dodson, one sister- Lerine Lair; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: his first wife- Cloie Dodson, and one son- Carvin Reid Dodson.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation: Monday, June 16th after 5 pm
Funeral Service: Tuesday, June 17th at 2 pm
Interment: Elk Spring Cemetery
