Paul Denney was born May 2, 1944 and departed this life Friday, January 1, 2021 reaching the age of 76 years. He was the son of the late Melvin and Mildred (Guffey) Denney.

He is survived by: ­his wife, Stephanie Denney; 2 daughters, Judy Denney and Paula (John) DuBarry; 1 brother, Roger Denney; 4 grandchildren, Olivia Brown, Lillian Johnson, Caroline DuBarry and John Paul Denney DuBarry; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: 1 sister, Belva Daniel; and 1 brother, Dyane Denney.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 9, 2021 from 10 am until 2 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
