Paul Christopher "Jar" Upchurch was born May 13, 1971, and departed this life Thursday, June 8, 2023, reaching the age of 52 years. He was the son of Phyllis (Guinn) Upchurch and the late Norman Lee Upchurch.

He is survived by: his mother, Phyllis Upchurch; one brother, Mark Upchurch (Leah); and one sister, Angela Lowe (Chris); along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his father, Norman Upchurch, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jeffrey Upchurch.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, between 11 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Lockett's Chapel Cemetery.
