Obituary
PAUL RAYMOND BURRIS was born December 28th, 1920 in Wayne County, Kentucky and departed this life Sunday, June 22nd, 2003, reaching the age of 82 years. He was the son of Charlie Burris and Edna Dalton Burris.
He was united in marriage to Myrtle Catron Burris, and to this union two children were born.
He is survived by his wife Myrtle Burris and one son-Steve Burris of Monticello, KY. He is also survived by one brother-Jim Burris and one sister-Ella Mae Shelbourne, both of Mt. Washington, KY, along with several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one son-Richard Burris.
He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Gap Creek Baptist Church Building Fund.
Visitation: The family will receive friends after 5 PM on Tuesday, June 24th, 2003 in the chapel. In connection with this obituary, a Masonic Service will be held Tuesday evening at 7 PM in the chapel of the funeral home.
Funeral Service: The funeral service will be Wednesday, June 25th at 2 PM in the chapel of the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home with Bro. David Flagler officiating.
Interment: Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
