Obituary
PAUL NELSON BURGESS was born October 31, 1929 and departed this life July 17, 2005 reaching the age of 75 years. He was the son of Alfred Burgess and Mary Denton Burgess.
He was united in marriage to Betty Ballou and to this union three children were born.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Burgess of Monticello, KY; one son, Mark Burgess of Orlando. FL; and two daughters, Marilyn Brann of Monticello, KY and Rita Andrews of Apex, NC; and five grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers, Melvin Burgess of Monticello, KY and Ed Burgess of Southport, IN; two sisters, Cahterine McCutchen and Thelma Bell both of Monticello, KY; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Mary Burgess; one brother, Russell Burgess, and two sisters, Ermogene Kelsay and Helen Fellure.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation: Tuesday, July 19 after 6 pm and Wednesday, July 20 after 8 am
Funeral Service: Wednesday, July 20 at 10 am
Interment: Elk Spring Cemetery
