Patricia Thompson was born September 6, 1944, and departed this life Saturday, June 13, 2026, reaching the age of 81 years. She was the daughter of Sebastian (Pete) Serrano and Marcene Kulby. 

She married Glen Thompson and to this union two children were born. 

In addition to her husband, Glen, she is survived by: one son, Michael Thompson; one daughter, Laurel Dewitt; three grandchildren, Rane Dewitt, Mason Dewitt, and Taylor Thompson; and great grandchildren, Bailee Dewitt, Adynn Dewitt, Ryder Dewitt, Knightly Dewitt, Obisidian Dewitt, Ivy Dewitt, and River Dewitt.  She is also survived by: one sister, Vicki Simmons. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Bradford Kubly.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.  

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, between 1 pm - 3 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 3 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Gap Creek Cemetery.
