Patricia Smith was born September 5, 1943 and departed this life Sunday, July 15, 2018 reaching the age of 74 years. She was the daughter of the late Pat Wiser and Evalee (Richardson) Castle.

Survivors include two daughters, Vanessa Brummett (Leslie), and Elizabeth Kennedy (Bobby); 7 grandchildren, John, Faith, Judson and Caedmon Hicks, and Anthony (Mattea), Andrew, and Austin Kennedy, and 1 great grandchild, Everleigh Kennedy. She is also survived by 3 sisters, Joan Kindrick of Princeton, KY, Peggy Morrissey of Lexington, KY, and Joy Fairchild (Marty) of Monticello, KY: along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard Castle and William Castle.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 19, 2018 after 5 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Friday, July 20, 2018 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
