Obituary
Owen Stowell was born February 9, 1936 and departed this life Thursday, September 25, 2008 reaching the age of 72 years. He was the son of the late Owen Patrick and Dorothy Marie (Switzer) Stowell.
He married Kathryn Snyder and to this union four children were born.
He is survived by: his wife- Kathryn Stowell of Monticello, KY, 2 daughters- Kathy Ann Wireman of Albany, KY and Brenda Austin of Monticello, KY, 5 grandchildren, and 2 two great grandchildren. He is also survived by: 2 brothers- John Stowell of Alabama and Larry Stowell of Baltimore, MD, and 2 sisters- Dorothy Stowell of Frederick MD and Colleen Shannybrook of Baltimore, MD; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: 2 sons- William Patrick and Richard Stowell.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation: Saturday, September 27th after 4 pm
Funeral Service: Sunday, September 28th at 4 pm
Interment: Chestnut Grove Cemetery
