Oval Ramsey, age 87, passed away Monday, February 26, 2024 at Lexington VA Hospice Cottages in Lexington, KY. He was the son of the late James and Lola (Corder) Ramsey.

He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Hanson (Steve) and granddaughter, Gracie Hanson.

Along with his parents, James and Lola Ramsey; he was preceded in death by: one son, Stephen Ramsey; and two sisters, Janette Oatts and Geneva Crouch.

Oval was a proud Army Veteran, serving in Korea.

He loved racing, UK basketball and his farm.

He will be sadly missed!

April 7th is Oval's birthday. With that in mind, the family thought it fitting to have a visitation on April 7, 2024, at Big Sinking Baptist Church between 2 – 3 pm. A Celebration of Life service will begin at 3 pm.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Big Sinking Baptist Church, 5165 Hwy 776, Monticello, KY 42633.
