Otto Piercy was born January 14, 1922 and departed this life Monday, May 5, 2014 reaching the age of 92 years. He was the son of the late Reuben "Cuba" and Ethel (Morgan) Piercy.

He is survived by: two daughters, Mary Catron and Connie Pursiful; three grandchildren, William Catron, Anthony Catron, and Rebecca Pursiful.  He is also survived by:  one brother, Bob Piercy; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Cuba and Ethel Piercy, he was preceded in death by: his wife, Hazel Piercy; two daughters, Anna and Glenna Piercy; three brothers, Larry, Lyle, and Andy Piercy; and five sisters, Lizzie Morgan, Maude Morgan, Nina Bell, Beulah Piercy, and Hamia Slavens.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 after 5 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 8, 2014 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Parmley's Grove Cemetery.
