Obituary

Osban "Ray" Carpenter, son of Swanson and Dorothy passed away March 11, 2016 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Elroy, Jack and Howard.

He leaves behind his wife, Wanda (Jones) Carpenter; two daughters, Norma Jean (Steve) Blouser and Donna Jane (Mark) Livesay; two grandsons, Raymond Road and Charles (Jo) Livesay; two great granddaughters, Brooklyn and Tiffany Livesay; along with a host of family and friends to mourn his passing.

Osban moved to Monticello in 2011 from Bellville, Ohio having lived in Ohio most of his life. He accepted the Lord in 1956 and became a member of First Baptist Church of Bellville where he was a faithful member.

He was an Army Veteran and served in Korea.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 after 12 noon in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at 2pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Military honors will be performed by DAV Chapter 105.
